This time of year people like to make excuses for eating a lot! I say, it’s the perfect time to try something new!
For Act-Fit Friday, I’m giving you some reasons why I LOVE Les Mills BODYCOMBAT! Hopefully, you will consider giving it a try or another form of MMA workouts, kickboxing, or home dvds in this area.
“BODYCOMBAT™ is the empowering group fitness cardio workout where you are totally unleashed. This fiercely energetic program is inspired by mixed martial arts and draws from a wide array of disciplines such as karate, boxing, taekwondo, tai chi and muay thai.”
What were your thoughts when reading the title? Could you identify? This is another Student Spotlight feature!
Claudia Noriega is a busy busy lady, but she takes time out to come to BODYCOMBAT express & BODYPUMP every Wednesday morning! She always has a solemn look on her face in the most intense parts of the workout! It tickles me to pieces.
That look is how she feels about life, get it done and keep it moving!
I asked her why she typed that phrase (the title). She stated “that’s all I have time to do, boop, boop, and boop!
As a matter of fact, this was the last thing she typed…
I’ll finish later cause I have to go to work
When I got to class, I told her, she had already answered all the questions. That’s the fast paced life of a single hard working mother! She was so busy, didn’t even realize she had completed the task!
Interrupting Act-Fit Friday for Ask Away Friday. I commented on one of your Friday post “How can I get in on all of this fun?”. I’m not sure if Brittnei from Homemaking With Style read it, but she shot me an email, so here we go!
How did you decide to become a pharmacist?
The short answer, when one of my mentors graduated from pharmacy school, my Pastor made a huge deal about it. I was in middle school, went to her reception, & eventually went to shadow her at work & found everything about it intriguing.
Later in college I volunteered at the local pharmacy for 3 months as a technician to make the final decision between pharmacy and dermatology.
YESTERDAY AT SOUTHWEST HS IN THE SENIOR BIOLOGY CLASS
Welcome to Act-Fit Friday! Remember a few weeks ago I said I was going to start highlighting members who take classes from me? Well the time is now!
The main reason for this is to show my appreciation to them as regular members, for readers to learn more about the variety of people who take group fitness classes and why, & to motivate my readers to try group fitness as a part of their workout routine.
We are getting started with one of my favorite people Fit and Fabulous 37 y/o Mrs. Lisa Howard!
Greetings PFL & a Southern hospitable welcome to my home for any special visitors this week!!! I’m really excited to start this week off with our 2nd 7 Day Mini Blog Challenge Party!

For this version of Act-Fit Friday, I’m letting you in on all the fun that occurred with the latest Les Mills program release BODYCOMBAT 56.
***Before we get started, please stop by Kita’s blog and check out my guest post. Kita’s conversations on Fridays are one of the things I look forward to each week. Go see what happened with me and the Po Po!!!***
We just so happened to launch this release during the time that the 4th Holiday was approaching, so I opted to get in the spirit for 1 class and take a break from the standard official color of green.
For Act-Fit Friday today, I’m interrupting the regularly scheduled post because I had such a fabulous time yesterday and I told the girls they would be featured here today.
