In case you haven’t noticed, the theme this month is LOVE! Not necessarily spot on with relationships, just some things I love and some entertaining posts dealing with love.
So, you already know I LOOOVVVEEE Les Mills BODYPUMP program. I have written about it a number of times! Today’s post is addressing an issue I’ve noticed along with my head trainer.
When I first received these items in the mail from Fabletics, I tried them on immediately. When we got ready to leave for the mall after changing, my mother wanted to know why I changed outfits. I was like “those were workout clothes!”
I guess they were pretty fabulous, huh? Continue reading
Happy Monday to you PFL! I’m linking up with Nellie because I think it’s a great way to start the year on a healthy living fitness blog!
I created a general bucket list
around my birthday
last year. Some of this will be repetitive but with a little detail. Continue reading
It’s Christmas Eve’s Eve! HOLLA! I am very excited to be hosting this event for a few of my friends in the blog community.
WELCOME to the Christmas Eve’s Eve Holly Bloggy Christmas Party Reveal Day! LET’S PARTY and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
The lovely Kimberly from Manifest Yourself was assigned yours truly and can I just say, Merry Christmas to me!!!
First, let me brag on Kimberly for just a bit! She is quite an accomplished young woman! She is manifesting herself in her dream job currently, WHOOP! S/O for having a dream job at such a young age. She has also made a name for herself in the blog community. Check her presentation out here. You can get career tips from her blog amongst many other things. Most importantly, the tone of the blog is very inspirational and I absolutely love her!
Today for Act-Fit Friday, I have somewhat of an introduction! Remember a couple of weeks ago, when I posted 35 ways to Celebrate your Blogoversary? I am fulfilling one of those today!
We are almost there to the 1 year celebration!!!
A few weeks ago, Amber (who is clearly not a stranger to the PFL community), passed her Les Mills RPM training! YAY Amber!!! I am so proud of her! If you are not familiar with Les Mills Programs, RPM is the equivalent of a spin or cycling class.
Did that title make you think of Donna Richardson?
I loved that workout DVD! I haven’t watched the 2nd one but I am sure it is just as awesome.
Today for Act-Fit Friday I was actually in the Christmas Spirit!
This time of year people like to make excuses for eating a lot! I say, it’s the perfect time to try something new!
For Act-Fit Friday, I’m giving you some reasons why I LOVE Les Mills BODYCOMBAT! Hopefully, you will consider giving it a try or another form of MMA workouts, kickboxing, or home dvds in this area.
“BODYCOMBAT™ is the empowering group fitness cardio workout where you are totally unleashed. This fiercely energetic program is inspired by mixed martial arts and draws from a wide array of disciplines such as karate, boxing, taekwondo, tai chi and muay thai.”
What were your thoughts when reading the title? Could you identify? This is another Student Spotlight feature!
Claudia Noriega is a busy busy lady, but she takes time out to come to BODYCOMBAT express & BODYPUMP every Wednesday morning! She always has a solemn look on her face in the most intense parts of the workout! It tickles me to pieces.
That look is how she feels about life, get it done and keep it moving!
I asked her why she typed that phrase (the title). She stated “that’s all I have time to do, boop, boop, and boop!
As a matter of fact, this was the last thing she typed…
I’ll finish later cause I have to go to work
When I got to class, I told her, she had already answered all the questions. That’s the fast paced life of a single hard working mother! She was so busy, didn’t even realize she had completed the task!
T.G.I.F. PFL! Sorry for the morbidness of Wednesday. At least now, we should all know what we want for our blogs in the unfortunate event that we expire while we are still blogging.
This version of Act-Fit Friday will be the new Student Spotlight feature that you all seem to enjoy!
Interrupting Act-Fit Friday for Ask Away Friday. I commented on one of your Friday post “How can I get in on all of this fun?”. I’m not sure if Brittnei from Homemaking With Style read it, but she shot me an email, so here we go!
How did you decide to become a pharmacist?
The short answer, when one of my mentors graduated from pharmacy school, my Pastor made a huge deal about it. I was in middle school, went to her reception, & eventually went to shadow her at work & found everything about it intriguing.
Later in college I volunteered at the local pharmacy for 3 months as a technician to make the final decision between pharmacy and dermatology.
